Motor Brushes

An essential role of vacuum maintenance is to ensure that motor brushes are replaced regularly once they have burned down to any length shorter than 3/16 of an inch (their standard length is 3/4 of an inch). This will ensure the longevity of your vacuum cleaner throughout it's years of use. The typical life expectancy of motor brushes is around 800-900 hours of use, the bearings or the armature usually failing shortly after. We have a variety of vacuum cleaner motor brushes and carbon brushes available for most major brands of vacuums.
